2027 Radar Lyric BOA Boot | Refined for Response

The 2027 Radar Lyric BOA is built for female skiers rather than adapted for them — a narrower ankle pocket and a reworked cuff profile, which is what stops a boot from gapping at the ankle and losing your input before it reaches the ski. Carbitex OmniFlex and the BOA dial give it a connected, repeatable feel session to session. This is the front boot.

Key Technical Features

  • Women's-Specific Fit: Narrower ankle pocket and an adjusted cuff profile. Not a resized men's boot — the shape change is the whole point, because a loose ankle is where control gets lost.
  • Carbitex OmniFlex: A flexible carbon fibre textile rather than a rigid panel. It transfers energy to the ski immediately while still allowing natural ankle movement.
  • BOA Fit System: Micro-adjustable dial closure. Same fit every session instead of the drift you get from laces, and adjustable on the water.
  • Feather Frame 2.0 Chassis: Mounting system, baseplate and outer shell in one piece, so you stand closer to the ski and feel more through it. Modular this year, so front and rear boots are interchangeable.
  • Wrap Tech Level 2 and Moulded 3D Tongue: A moderate wrap that stays forgiving underfoot, with a symmetrical build that works front or rear and on either foot.

Why You'll Love It

Intermediate to advanced. If you've skied in a unisex boot and never quite got it tight enough around the ankle without crushing your foot, this is the fix — that's the specific problem the narrower pocket solves. Open toe also means the ski can be shared, which matters if it lives on a family boat rather than being yours alone.

Size Guide

  • Small: US 6–9 · UK 4–6.5 · EU 37–40 · JP 22.5–25
  • Standard: US 8–12 · UK 6–10 · EU 39–44 · JP 24–28.5

Two sizes: Small US 6–9, Standard US 8–12. On the boundary, go smaller for a firmer fit.

Quick Answers

Lyric BOA or Vector BOA?
The Lyric is the women's boot: narrower ankle pocket, adjusted cuff, sized US 6–9 and 8–12, and it adds Carbitex OmniFlex. The Vector is the unisex boot in wider sizing. If a unisex boot has never got tight enough at the ankle, the Lyric.

Rear boot or ARTP behind it?
The Lyric BOA Rear is the matching rear boot for two-feet-in skiing; the Lyric BOA ARTP is the lighter, foot-out-friendly option that fits a range of feet. Most skiers run the front boot plus the ARTP.

Will it fit my ski?
Yes — the Feather Frame 2.0 chassis is built to mount on every current slalom ski, Radar or otherwise.
