2027 Radar RTP (Alum) | Rubber, Fixed, Done

The 2027 Radar RTP (Alum) is the rubber fitted rear toe plate, built for skiers who already know what they want. A contoured footbed wrapped in full rubber, on an aluminium plate — tight, simple, and nothing to adjust, break or think about. It mounts to a standard insert pattern, so it drops onto almost any ski.

Key Technical Features

  • Full Rubber Construction: The whole wrap is rubber rather than a laced or dialled upper. It grips the foot by stretch alone, which is why it feels tight rather than adjustable — and why there's nothing on it to wear out or come undone.
  • Contoured Footbed: Shaped to give the back foot something to locate against, inside a full rubber wrap. The traditional feel skiers who grew up on rubber RTPs are usually looking to get back.
  • Aluminium Plate: Mounts to a conventional insert pattern, so it fits skis that aren't running the Feather Frame system, and can be moved between skis.

Why You'll Love It

All levels, but a deliberate choice rather than a default. Buy it if you've skied on rubber for years and don't want a dial, a tongue or an adjustment range — you want the plate you already know. If you're setting up a ski that gets shared across very different foot sizes, the ARTP will do that job better; rubber sizing is a range you fit into, not one you adjust.

Quick Answers

Rubber RTP or ARTP?
Rubber grips by stretch — you fit into a size range, you don't adjust it. An ARTP adjusts across foot sizes and re-fits for the next skier. One skier who wants a simple, fixed rear, the rubber RTP. A shared ski, the ARTP.

Which size?
By US shoe size: XS–S 4–7, M–L 7–10, XL–XXL 10–13. Rubber should feel tight — on the boundary, go down.

Will it fit my ski?
Yes — the aluminium plate mounts to a standard slalom insert pattern, so it fits Radar skis and most other brands, and it can be moved between skis.
