True-to-size length. True 100 mm fit. Same shell as the Prime 115 W. Same excellent fit. If pressure over the top of your foot has been an issue in the past, the Prime is one of the first boots we'd recommend trying.

The heel pocket is secure without feeling overly aggressive, and the cuff accommodates a wide range of lower leg and calf shapes. If you need even more calf room, simply removing the rear spoiler opens things up noticeably. The toe box is a bit more tapered than boots like the Nordica Speedmachine, so skiers who are sensitive around the inside of the big toe or outside of the pinky toe may notice it. Fortunately, both the shell and liner heat mold exceptionally well, making it easy to fine-tune the fit.

Compared to the Prime 115 W, the 105 W has a slightly lower-density liner and softer shell, creating a roomier first fit without changing the shell dimensions. It's a subtle difference, but one you'll notice if you try both boots back-to-back. For a lot of advanced intermediate and advanced skiers, this is the sweet spot in the lineup—plenty of support without feeling like more boot than you need.
