Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 130 BOA Ski Boots 2026

The Prime XTD 130 has been around for a few seasons now and is one of the better skiing 'hybrid' alpine touring boots ever made. This year the boot gets upgraded with a BOA fit system, it doesn't make the boot ski any differently, it's just exciting. The XTD 130's ability to perform on the downhill is why it's become a favorite in the category. At a 130 flex, it's capable of driving just about any ski with ease and the lighter-weight construction (compared to a traditional downhill boot) will keep ascents from being overly taxing. Having tested these boots on a variety of skis from playful, lighter skis to burlier, hard-charging, metal laminate front-side skis, we were super impressed all around. There aren't many boots out there that do so much so well. If you've got average feet, are an above-average skier, and want a boot that can take you from steeps in the resort to tours in the backcountry, the Hawx Prime XTD 130 is a solid choice.
