Hestra Army Leather Extreme Mitt
Beschreibung
The Hestra Army Leather Extreme Mitt is what you reach for when a normal insulated ski glove simply isn’t cutting it. It takes the rugged construction of Hestra’s Army Leather series and adds significantly more G-Loft insulation, earning Hestra’s highest 8/8 Expedition warmth rating.
Proofed Army goat leather handles the high-wear areas, while four-way stretch softshell across the back of the hand provides wind and water resistance. Inside, the removable Bemberg fleece liner adds another substantial layer of warmth and can be pulled out to dry, wash, or swap for a thinner liner when conditions allow.
There’s a tradeoff: this is a big, heavily insulated mitt, and Hestra gives it a lower mobility rating because of that. Most of the bulk sits on top your hand, and the palm and fingers still have good feel and movement, but still something to consider. But that’s not what you’re buying it for. For frigid chairlifts, deep-winter skiing, and anyone whose hands are always the first thing to get cold, the Extreme puts warmth above everything else.
