If putting ski boots on is the worst part of your ski day, the HF 85 W fixes that. The rear-entry design opens the cuff way up, allowing your foot to basically slide straight in instead of fighting its way around the shell. Great for skiers with limited mobility, but you don't need an excuse to want an easier boot to put on and take off.

Fit is generous. True high-volume 102 mm last. Length feels a little generous, but not enough that we'd recommend sizing down because of it. The liner is plush throughout with enough shape around the heel and ankle to keep your foot reasonably secure. The cuff is extremely accommodating, and the closure system has enough adjustment to work with both larger and smaller calves.

This isn't a boot for someone looking for a super precise, locked-in performance fit. That's not the point. The HF 85 W is about making skiing easier. Warm liner, forgiving 85 flex, tons of room, and probably the easiest ski boot you'll ever put on. If comfort and convenience are at the top of your list, it's tough to beat.
