True low-volume fit. True-to-size length. Firm heel pocket. Precise through the midfoot without feeling overly aggressive. The biggest improvement over previous Mach1 LVs is the instep. Older versions could be tough on skiers with an average or above-average instep—we were creating more room in a lot of them. The new shell fixes that without giving up the locked-in feel that makes the Mach1 one of our favorite performance boots.

The cuff shape accommodates a surprisingly wide range of lower leg and calf shapes, making it easier to achieve a great fit without compromising performance. It's also easier to get on and off than most low-volume boots, something you'll appreciate every ski day. The CAS shell is straightforward to customize, making this one of the best low-volume boots on the market for both fit and performance.
