The Mach1 MV 105 W uses the same shell shape and fit improvements found throughout the new Mach1 MV lineup. It's a true mid-volume fit with a true-to-size length, a refined instep that relieves pressure over the top of the foot, and an updated heel pocket that's easier to slide into than the previous generation. Like the rest of the lineup, it feels slightly longer during the initial try-on thanks to the softer toe box material, but once the liner is molded and broken in, the fit is exactly what we'd expect from a Mach1 MV.

The women's-specific cuff is designed to better match the anatomy of the lower leg, while the liner uses additional wool to improve warmth and make the boot easier to get on and off. It slides onto the foot more easily than many performance boots while still providing the secure heel hold Tecnica is known for.

Compared to the Mach1 MV 115 W, the biggest difference is simply the flex. The 105 is noticeably easier to bend and feels more forgiving throughout the entire flex pattern. It still provides the precise, connected feel that defines the Mach1 family, but it requires less input from the skier, making it more comfortable over long days and easier to access for a wider range of advanced skiers.

Like every Mach1 MV, it's straightforward to customize thanks to Tecnica's CAS system and remains one of the easiest high-performance mid-volume boots for us to fit.
