Same shell shape as the Mach1 MV 130. Same fit improvements. True mid-volume fit. True-to-size length. The shell is identical in length to the previous generation, but the first fit feels a touch longer thanks to a softer toe box material and a heel pocket that's easier to slide into. Don't size down because of it—once the liner is molded and breaks in, it fits exactly like we'd expect a Mach1 MV to fit.

Tecnica also refined the instep shape. The improvement isn't as dramatic as it was on the LV models, but there's noticeably less pressure over the top of the foot while maintaining the precise, connected feel that has always made the Mach1 MV one of our favorite fits. Easier to get on and off than the previous generation, straightforward to customize, and one of the easiest high-performance mid-volume boots for us to fit.
